  • Team Coaching Clinics

For managers-turned-coaches of teams. Introductory, intermediate and advanced curricula available. One to three days each. Case-based learning, workshops, interactive discussions. Team development, how to manage a team, what to do and when to do it. Practical, customized skills. Required if participating in full suite of AnkarloTeamTraining.

"No amount of analysis can prepare you for the changes that take place with teaming and the resulting conflicts. The Ankarlo Training Group helped us avoid making costly mistakes and provided the experience necessary to make the transition to ad teams a relatively smooth one."

    - Jane Buck, Pilot Team Coach,
      The Orlando Sentinel

  • Team Tune-Ups

Interviews and diagnostics with individual teams, then feedback for improvement to team coaches. One and one half hours per team. Charts, plots, assessments, Myers-Briggs Personality Inventories, grids, graphs and counseling tools are employed to discern "what is working and what is not" to precisely fine-tune teams to high performance. Repeated quarterly for first year of teaming then annually or semi-annually. Complete reports rendered after tune-ups. The company culture changes to a feedback-enriched organization. Required if participating in full suite of Ankarlo Team Training. "What gets measured gets done."

"True teams are small, nimble and highly focused. The acid test as to whether you have a team is to ask individuals on the team what is their goal. If they do not know in clear concrete, concise, specific, measurable detail as to where they are to goal today, they are probably not a team. Teams have common goals and common rewards."

    - Loren Ankarlo

  • Teams at Work

Introduction to teaming. Stand-alone keynote, half-day training, or naturally included as first part of two-day Team Launches of new or reengineered teams and cross-functional teams. "Vision is more caught than taught." This is a session intended to transfer vision, and the hope for a preferred future state of an evolved culture of feedback and collaboration.

  • 9 Practices of High-Performing Teams
a.k.a. "Team Launches" (for newly formed teams)

Engaging, interactive series of workshops designed to "tool" teams to clarify goals, charters, roles, responsibilities, decision-boundaries, meetings, celebrations, etc. to make teams more effective. Two consecutive days.

  • Cross-Functional Ad Team Launch

This is what the newspapers are talking about. High-tech and pharmaceuticals did this first. For cross-functional advertising teams: Ultimately results in increased revenue, decreased errors and improved employee morale. This changes the culture of a company to become a feedback-driven organization. Two days-includes "The 9 Traits of High Performing Teams."

  • Process Improvement Team Launch

Identify a need, and together, we identify the root problems and the methodology for reengineering processes specific to your company-such as earlier press start, increased revenue, faster distribution, increased production, reduced costs, procurement savings, management of quality, etc., for any industry.

  • How to Conduct Effective Meetings

Facilitation and participation skills. Improved meetings, increased efficiency. Revenue-generation. Formulating agendas, meeting notes, decision-making tools. Two hours to a full day, depending on level of decision-making and consensus tools being trained.

  • Practicals of Conflict Resolution for Teams

How to confront with tact, create a learning, feedback-enriched organization. Interest-based negotiation. Giving feedback that counts. Interacting with conflict rather than avoiding it. Three hours to two days depending on depth of skill desired. Especially for cross-functional and interdisciplinary or case-related teams.
